I was responsible for all of the CAD and electrical work on this 220v, 10′ by 6′ kiln.



This kiln was custom made for the Solaire project. It was usually fired to around 1230°F to slump borosilicate glass.
The electronics comprised four zones controlled by Watlow Dinamites run by a Watlow F4T.

The kiln itself is raised and lowered via remote controlled chain hoists
